On April 9th, 2025, our colleagues from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) conducted a collaborative field visit. The team focused on identifying new weed species using images captured by CSIC’s robotic systems. These images will be utilized to train machine learning models, enhancing the analysis of drone-acquired imagery.
This collaboration underscores AGROSUS’s commitment to integrate advanced technologies in precision agriculture. By combining robotic imaging with machine learning, we aim to improve early-stage weed detection and classification, contributing to more sustainable and efficient farming practices.
