AGROSUS will join its sister project GOOD, along with two other initiatives, OPER8 and Bodegas Viña Costeira, for a joint event focused on the application of agroecology in viticulture. Titled “Creciendo con sentido: la viticultura agroecológica en acción”, the event will take place on May 9th at Pazo de Toubes (Cenlle) and will showcase how agroecological practices are being tested and implemented in vineyard systems.
This meeting brings together researchers, winemakers, and agricultural stakeholders to present innovative approaches and field results from ongoing projects aimed at building more resilient and sustainable vineyard systems based on agroecological principles.
The event is scheduled for the morning and will begin with a welcome reception, followed by a talk about the the concept of agroecology and its relevance to viticulture. Researchers from each participating project will then present their perspectives and findings, including AGROSUS, presented by our colleague, David López González. The session will conclude with a guided field visit to nearby vineyards applying these agroecological methods. Take a look at the agenda here.
