On May 9th, AGROSUS organized “Creciendo con sentido: viticultura en acción“, a joint event in which AGROSUS invited its sister project GOOD along with OPER8, and Bodegas Viña Costeira. The shared goal of the event was to promote knowledge transfer in local agroecological strategies and practices in viticulture. Held at the Pazo de Toubes in Ourense (Galicia), located in the Atlantic region, the gathering brought together 19 participants.
During the event, AGROSUS, OPER8, and GOOD each had the opportunity to present the practices and actions being implemented in their respective projects. Representing AGROSUS, David González from the University of Vigo discussed strategies currently in development, including the use of robotics to analyze fertilizer dependency and the recently launched weed database.
Nuria Ferreiro and Ana Conso presented on behalf of GOOD, while Rosa Mosquera also contributed insights from the project. Carlos, representing Bodegas Viña Costeira, highlighted the local impact of their initiatives in the region. The event concluded with a field visit to the vineyards of Bodegas Viña Costeira, you can take a deep look into the agenda here.
