On January 30, 2026, the Open Day at Finca Sinyent (Polinyà del Xúquer, Valencia), hosted by AVA-ASAJÀ, brought together researchers and representatives from the Instituto Agroforestal Mediterráneo of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). The event provided a platform for the institute’s research groups to present their ongoing projects and foster collaboration across the Mediterranean agricultural research community.

The Research Group on Phytochemical Resources, which is contributing to AGROSUS research activities, represented the project during the event, highlighting its objectives and sharing the latest updates from the Mediterranean region. The team had the opportunity to present their research, exchange perspectives with other experts, and explore the ongoing projects of different research groups. Additionally, the Innovation Manager of AVA-ASAJÀ presented current projects and their thematic lines. The day concluded with a guided visit to the experimental fields.

Additionally, in November 2025, the sister project CONSERWA visited the AGROSUS experimental fields during their second project meeting. The team presented both the persimmon and citrus fields in L’Alcúdia, Valencia, offering an opportunity to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration between the two projects.

These activities reinforce the collaboration and impact of the AGROSUS project in the Mediterranean region, showcasing its commitment to advancing research and innovation in agroforestry and phytochemical resources.
