AGROSUS participated at the Green & Digital Polissia Forum in Ukraine on January 16th. This event, organized by The Polissya National University, brought together farmers and entrepreneurs from across Ukraine, showcasing digital opportunities and solutions for sustainable agribusiness. Participants were introduced to successful examples of foreign and domestic developments (platforms, mobile applications), modern GIS services for farmers, and the use of drones on farms, among other innovations.
A dedicated segment of the forum focused on the participation of Polissya National University in large-scale international projects. In particular, Tetiana Fedoniuk, head of the Educational and Scientific Center for Agriculture, Environment, and Bioeconomy, and the Horizon Europe Program NCP for Cluster 6: “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment, provided valuable insights into available tools for financing innovative practices in the fields of food, natural resources, and agriculture.
As a member of our team, she also represented AGROSUS. During her presentation, Tetiana discussed the digitalization of weed management, using the project’s research plots as an example. She also shared the preliminary results of testing drones and satellite images to assess weed levels in sunflower and maize crops.
